“The Hallelujah Girls” at the historic Bastrop Opera House.  Hilarity abounds when good friends shake up their lives in this side-splitting, joyful, laugh-out-loud comedy from the three of the most widely produced playwrights in the U.S. Jessie Jones, Nicholas Hope, and Jamie Wooten.

Director, Engela Edwards, said, “It is great to be working with many of my favorite Opera House regulars such as Michelle Billett from Austin, Rachel Edwards from Bastrop, Alicia Gust from Red Rock, and Danne Absher, Will Holcomb, Lisa Holcomb from Smithville.  While new to the Opera House stage, McKenzie Morrison from Cedar Park, and second-timer Joycelyn Schedler from The Colony, have kept me in stitches since I met them at auditions.”  Cast members along with and Bruce Calvery, Terri Dyer, David Moore, Bill Edwards and Chester Eitze have helped create the set which is an abandoned church which a group of Southern characters turn into a day spa where they can meet.

Tickets were:  $12 Adults; and $10 for Seniors, Active Military, Veterans, and Students.
