This is a wonderfully entertaining musical about the last day of school when a vaudeville comes to town bringing old loves and new and changing the lives of the people in Bastrop. The show is set in the 1890s and filled with songs from the period. Performed live in an authentic 1889 theater by 30 actors, singers, and dancers.

Actor, writer, director, john daniels, jr. is a seasoned actor of over 105 productions, with over 1600 live performances including the title role in Hamlet, Mercucio in Romeo and Juliet, and Eddie in The Rocky Horror Show.
As of May 2006, 23 of his original plays and musicals have been produced.
john has directed 39 productions. He has directed for nine companies and four schools. He is the Artist and Playwright in Residence for EASY Theatre. He holds a BA in theatre from Texas A&M, Kingsville.
Currently he is on tour starring in his comedy Making Love in Public.
Engela is the Artistic Director of EASY Theatre. She is an actor, director, choreographer, producer, writer, and acting teacher. In the last five years, Engela has been in 14 shows, co-written four plays, choreographed 13 productions, and directed six plays. Engela holds a BFA in theatre from The University of Texas at Arlington.
Currently she is on tour starring in Making Love in Public.
