Learn theater while
doing theater. Engela's classes are actually rehearsals for shows
which will be performed. Please look at all the dates carefully.
If you have any conflicts with the rehearsal or performance dates, you
must inform the director by the end of the first day of rehearsals.

Director Engela Edwards
has a BFA in Theater. Engela started doing shows in Bastrop in 2001.
Since that time shes produced and co-produced 23 productions at the Bastrop
Opera House, including 14 world premieres; some of which she wrote or co-wrote
with john daniels, jr. Since 1999, Engela has produced 40 production
(including 23 world premières) with her company EASY Theatre which

Alice
in Wonderland Song and Dance (Teens)

classes will be rehearsing a musical numbers for a musical version of Alice
in Wonderland with choreographer Engela Edwards.
No classes
during spring break. Different number taught in each session.
Come to one or both sessions, plus additional Tech, Dress, and Performance

Alice
in Wonderland Cast (Adults)

This
is a rehearsal class ending in performances of a musical version of Alice
in Wonderland. Teaching director Engela Edwards designed this
course so busy adults have an opportunity to perform. This fun project
is perfect for performers of every experience level. Engela has a
BFA in theater and has directed 39 play and musical productions.
Price includes script, rehearsal CD, and two tickets! You provide
your talent, energy, positive attitude, dedication, and costume.

deposit.
If you need
forms for a payment plan or a work scholarship, email Engela with your
full contact information, and return completed forms.
If you have completed
these steps, then you're registered and your Wednesday rehearsal slot is
secure.
If you have not
paid a $30 deposit and therefore committed to the entire semester fee,
or if you haven't filled out payment plan or scholarship forms and returned
them, then you're slot is NOT secure.
Engela had a waiting list last semester, so this is the only fair way to
do this.

Absences:
While being
at all rehearsals and performances is mandatory, we know illness
and emergencies happen. We expect that if and actor is sick that
they stay home, but call the director. Actors must be fever, diarrhea,
and vomiting free for 24 hours before coming to a rehearsal.
Director
will consider each case individually to determine if missed rehearsal will
keep a actor from performing his role.
Director
must be informed at registration if there are ANY rehearsal or performance
conflicts.

Enrolling:

Pay the
$30 non-refundable deposit due at registration by clicking the deposit
button. This will hold your place in the cast/class/rehearsal slot.
You are committing to paying the entire semester fee.

A registration
form will be emailed to you for you to complete and return after you have
paid your deposit. When you pay and return your form then you will
be registered. (Or after you've returned work scholarship forms and
your registration form, then you will be considered registered.)

Full payment
of the balance is due by the first day of rehearsals, unless
a payment plan has been arranged in advance. $25 late fee if not
paid (or written payment arrangements made) by the first day of rehearsals.

You will
provide your
costume which must be completely ready and worn to
rehearsal on the date noted in class description.

Cancellations:
When
you register for a rehearsal slot, you are committing to the whole fee.

In our attempt
to make this experience affordable, we keep optional expense like video,
tickets, and costumes, separate from registration fees. These fees
do not cover the cost of the project, so we will expect you to sell tickets
and program ads for the show.

Parents
or Caregivers: May quietly observe during rehearsals. Some shows
may have adult rolls. If you would like to be considered for one
of those roles, let the director know. If you are cast, you must
attend all rehearsals and performances.
Everyone
in the audience is required to have a ticket.
